Update from the team at Rosetta Holiday Park – 3rd April 2020

We are continuing to follow the Government guidelines and the Park at this time remains closed to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our guests, owners and team.

Guests who were due to visit between now and 5th June are being contacted to move their dates. Beyond this date, we will continue to listen closely to government advice and will contact any guest due to stay after this date to agree next steps. As you know, things are changing quickly, but as soon as the park is safe to open we will do so.

However we do not know when this will be, your break may still be able to go ahead, it may not, though please do not call us, we will call you. These are likely to take place 1-2 weeks prior to your arrival. We have retained a small number of essential team members to ensure safety and security working from home to process changes. Rest assured we will be in touch with you as soon as we can.

If you have any queries please email info@rosettaholidaypark.com

We realise how disappointing this is for everyone, but it is so very important to follow the advice given.

Thank you for your ongoing support and patience, take good care and we look forward to welcoming you the park very soon.

Please listen to the government advice, stay home and stay safe!

All the team.

Latest UK government announcement – 24th March 2020

We are sorry but following the Prime Minister’s statement last night our parks are now closed until further notice.

If you have a holiday booked with us which starts between now and the end of May, we will be in touch as soon as we can, but it may take a while as we are working in order or arrival date, so please don’t call or email us at this time. You will be given the option to either move your holiday date or to have a credit on your account for a future booking with us.

These are alarming times for us all and we are so sorry to be issuing this update. Regrettably we have no choice.

Please listen to the Government advice, stay home and stay safe.

Anne & the Team

Latest UK government announcement – 23rd March 2020

We’re sorry

Following the Government advice on Friday, we took the decision to close all of our facilities with immediate effect. We have now had time to consider that advice in full and in view of the current situation we have taken the difficult decision to stop taking any future holiday bookings for dates between now and the end of May.

We will also be rearranging all current holiday bookings due for arrival from today until the end of May. We are currently in the process of contacting all guests.

We realise that this is an uncertain and unsettling time for everyone and for those affected, we know you will be disappointed you can’t take your holiday at the moment. However, we are taking the Governments advice about non-essential travel, social distancing and isolation very seriously and to ensure the safety of our holidaymakers, owners and teams, we feel we have no choice but to suspend bookings and holidays for a period of time.

So that we can manage this as efficiently and quickly as possible we are not accepting any incoming calls. We will contact all booked holiday makers in order of arrival dates to help you move your holiday dates or give you a credit note for a future booking. It might take a while to get to everyone but rest assured, we will be in touch as quickly as we can.

We have been genuinely touched by all the kind messages of support and care from our owners and holiday makers during last week and thank you for your continuing patience and understanding. This is a difficult time for all of us, including our teams who are working around the clock to try and help people, so please be kind when talking to them.

We wish you and your family all the very best and hope to welcome you to our park in the not too distant future.
We are still taking new holiday bookings for dates from the 1st June onwards.
All the team on park

Please Note:
If you have booked via a partner (Hoseasons, Booking.com or Sun Holidays) we may not have your contact details so please get in touch with the company you made your booking with if your holiday date is from now until the end of May.

Latest UK government announcement – 21st March 2020

Following on from our update yesterday about closing our facilities, we would like to reassure holidaymakers that our park is still open for people to come and stay with us if they wish.

Where possible we are offering a takeaway service on the park for food and drink and our park shop remains open.

For holiday’s booked for arrival after the 28th March we will contact you as soon as we have assisted those due to arrive in the next few weeks.

We have been genuinely touched by all the kind messages of support and care from our holiday makers during last week and following the announcement yesterday, so we wanted to say a massive thank you. It’s amazing to feel all the love and support from all of you at such a challenging time for everyone. We very much appreciate your continuing patience and understanding.

Latest UK government announcement – 20th March 2020

We’re sorry but due to the latest advice from the Government, we have no choice but to close our facilities on the park from tonight (20th March 2020) until further notice. The closure will include bars, cafes, clubs, arcades and swimming pools as per the Government directive.

As this announcement has only just been made, we will be reviewing what this means for our guests and owners currently on park and those due to holiday with us in the coming weeks. Please bear with us while we review the latest advice and decide on the next steps.

We will issue an update in the next 48 hours, but so that we can manage this as efficiently and quickly as possible we are not accepting any incoming calls at this time. We will contact all holiday makers in order of arrival dates. It might take a while to get to everyone but rest assured, we will be in touch as quickly as we can.

We will also be contacting our owners to advise on the next steps as soon as we can.

Please bear with us during this challenging time and thanks for your patience and understanding.

Coronavirus, COVID-19 – What you need to know

We understand that you may be feeling unsettled given the rapidly changing situation around Coronavirus.

Due to increased demand, our park phone lines, customer services team and social media channels are very busy and we appreciate your patience while we respond to messages. To save guests waiting so long, we are requesting that guests wishing to talk to us, kindly only contact us if your holiday is within the next 7 days. This will allow us to deal with guests with imminent breaks first.

We will be contacting all guests who have a holiday booked between now and the end of April as quickly as we can.

Thank you again for your patience at this difficult time.

Is the park open?

The first thing we want to let you know is our park is open, allowing you to visit and enjoy a breath of fresh air on your holiday. There will be no changes whatsoever to our self-contained, self-catering accommodation which will continue to operate as normal.

The safety and security of our guests, owners, residents and team remain our number one priority.  With this in mind, we will be making some further changes in addition to what we announced yesterday.

In terms of our facilities that are available, we will be operating a reduced offer. This means there will be no entertainment (such as owner events and live entertainment in the bar) for the foreseeable future and the Funzone and Sailing School along with the indoor soft play area will be closed until further notice. This is to ensure we comply with the most recent Government advice. At this time our bar and restaurant will remain open for those who wish to use it.

We recognise that this new reduced offer is a change to our normal offering. Should Government advice change in the coming weeks and months ahead, we will aim to revert to our normal offering as soon as possible.

What to do if you feel unwell whilst at the park

Should you or any member of your party begin to feel unwell with Coronavirus symptoms (fever, cough, difficulty breathing) during our stay, please inform reception immediately by calling the park phone number. Please do not go to reception in person to report your symptoms.

We then suggest that you follow government advice and leave the park straight away in order to return home to self-isolate.

It is important that you do not visit reception or any public area on the park. Please leave your key in your accommodation. Further information about self-isolation can be found here.

I have a holiday booking, but am worried about the Coronavirus (COVID-19)

We understand that you might be concerned about your holiday. We advise that you check the Gov.uk website for all the up to date information, particularly if you have recently travelled to or from higher risk countries click here

Changes to the booking made by us:

If anything were to change regarding your holiday we will be in touch. If we can no longer offer the holiday booked or we need to cancel the following will apply:
• Replacement holiday (same as booked)
• Replacement holiday of less value than booked (where we would refund the difference)
• Replacement holiday of a higher value than booked (where you would pay the difference in cost)
• A full refund

The situation regarding Coronavirus is constantly changing, however, if you have any urgent questions about your booking please email info@rosettaholidaypark.com We are requesting that guests wishing to contact us to only get in touch if your holiday is due to start with us between now and 30th April 2020.  This will allow us to help and support guests who are due to arrive imminently.

Latest UK government announcement – 24th March 2020

We are sorry but we are now required to completely close the park as of today. You will probably have seen or heard that the Prime Minister declared a National Emergency last night. Among the many instructions he issued was the closure of many businesses including “caravan parks/sites”, that includes us.

Owners will not be permitted to stay on the park during the closure and should follow the Government advice to stay home. We understand there will be Police enforcement of this directive and we will need to explain any occupation of holiday homes at the park.

We appreciate that you will have questions about the next steps, but right now our priority is to help people vacate the park quickly and safely. We will contact all our owners as soon as we can to answer any questions you might have but please help us manage the situation as efficiently as possible by not calling or emailing us at this present time. We will also issue some FAQs in the next few days to help with some likely worries and concerns you may have.

These are alarming times for us all and we are so sorry to be issuing this update. Regrettably we have no choice. Please help us by doing what the government has ordered.
